This program is focus on consolidating and expanding the local chapters of Aksyon Kalikasan to transform it into a national organization able to service greens nationwide.
The GOAL of this program from 2020-2022 is to: Recruit, train and deploy 1,000 members as volunteers & partners in key sustainable development targets to show demonstrated capacities on implementing the Green Agenda (2020-2030) The program is implemented through four (4) projects: Conservation WorkCamp Project OBJECTIVE: Organize monthly a FREE conservation event open to all members and applicants to provide them an opportunity to contribute in the conservation targets 4th General Assembly Project OBJECTIVE: Conduct the 4th annual meeting of general membership to present the first 5-year accomplishment report, enhance understanding on the climate emergency, Adopt a 10-year strategic plan, amend specific provisions of the AK constitution & by-laws re-affirm commitments, provide a team building experience and contribute to the conservation targets Youth Wing Development Project OBJECTIVE: Organize a series of summits and assemblies for young people (students, community youth, IP youth, young professionals, others) to organize and register the AK Youth as an autonomous, self-governing & dynamic youth org Local Chapter Building Project OBJECTIVE: Consolidate 24 (Silang, Tagaytay, GMA, Bailen, Ternate, Rosario, Maragondon, General Trias, Trece Martires, Imus, Los Banos, Binan, Cavinti, Nasugbu, Mataas na Kahoy, Manila, Quezon City, Muntinlupa, Malabon, Las Pinas, Paranaque, Rodriguez, Antipolo, and Malolos ). existing chapters in Manila Bay coastal region & expansion to 5 regional branches (Ilocos, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula and Bangsamoro) Read about the MONITORING & EVALUATION status of the program here |
